TRA SU WILDLIFE
DURATION: 07:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tra Su cajuput or “eucalyptus” forest is an ideal destination for nature lovers, located about 20 km from Chau Doc, 140 km from Can Tho city and covers an area of approximately 850 hectares.
Taking a boat and sampan weaving through the forest to see enormous emerald-green duckweed, as well as flocks of birds and various kinds of fauna and flora. Particularly interesting to watch are birds that can walk on water: because of their low body weight they do not fall through the dense floating habitat.
Sitting in a motor boat and a rowing sampan to discover bird nests. Take a short walking trail of 500-meter prior to climbing the 25-meter high staircase to the observation post where you enjoy the fascinating view over the mountains and the expanse of the cajuput forest with white storks.
