The bay itself is home to Ke Ga island’s lighthouse, a picturesque French colonial structure that attracts visitors—and aspiring photographers—from all over the world who are eager to catch a glimpse of Southeast Asia’s oldest lighthouse. Hon Ba island is accessible by foot at low tide, or via a short ride in one of the bay’s many eye-catching boats.

Just a 3.5 hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City and a scenic hour-long coastal drive from the provincial capital of Phan Thiet, Ke Ga Bay is an easy trip for travelers looking to get away. Azerai’s secluded oceanfront oasis is accessible yet tucked away from other beach resorts, nestled amongst the small seaside villages of Binh Thuan. The closest airport is Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), a comfortable 3.5 hour drive to the beach resort. Direct international flights to key cities in Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East fly into Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN).

CLIMATE

Vietnam’s Binh Thuan province has hot, dry summers and warm, rainy winters, with average air temperatures ranging from 22ºC to 35ºC and water temperatures ranging from 26ºC to 30ºC. Light cotton and linen fabrics are generally comfortable year-round, with the occasional warmer layer for breezy coastal nights.
