Itinerary
14:00 – Our car and guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Tam Giang Lagoon, located about 8km from the center of Hue, towards Thuan An Beach.
Start with a visit to Uncle Ho’s Childhood House in Duong No Village, located 7 kilometers from Hue. This village is rich in cultural and historical significance. The memorial house, where Uncle Ho and his family lived from 1898 to 1900, is simply decorated amidst a lush garden.
15:00 – Next, head to the Ru Cha Mangroves, a rare primary mangrove forest in Tam Giang Lagoon, located in Thuan Hoa Village, Huong Phong Commune. The area thrives due to its unique ecosystem, offering a tranquil escape.
16:00 – Board a traditional sampan boat for a cruise to the Dam Chuon Area and explore the vast Tam Giang Lagoon. The late afternoon provides the perfect light for photos as you observe local life in the fishing villages. Pass by the picturesque sight of fishermen harvesting fish with their “cắm sáo” – bamboo pole fishing traps setting and “đổ nò” – fish traps being collected.
17:00 – Enjoy a fresh seafood dinner at Chuon Lagoon, featuring local dishes like seafood pancakes with “Kinh fish” (fresh Rabbitfish caught from the lagoon).
18:00 – Take a final boat ride around the lagoon to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the water.
19:00 – Return to your hotel, concluding the tour.
